The Art of Fully Inhabiting Yourself
Exquisite Presence guides you to calm your nervous system, embody your emotions, and awaken your most grounded, authentic self.
The World Today
Modern life has taught many of us to live outside of ourselves or abandon ourselves all together.
We push through exhaustion.
We override the signals of our bodies.
We silence emotions that feel inconvenient, intense, or misunderstood.
Women are told they are too emotional or their emotions are too much.
Men are told their emotions are something to suppress or that emotions are dangerous or weak.
So people disconnect from their bodies, bottle up heir emotions, and live in a constant state of subtle nervous-system survival. In the process, something essential gets lost.
But underneath all of that is something deeper, our natural state of presence.
Exquisite Presence
A state where a person is fully inhabiting themselves.
Calm. Grounded. Emotionally honest. Deeply embodied.
The Return to Presence
Exquisite Presence is devoted to helping people return to themselves — to a way of living that is calm, embodied, and emotionally honest.
Presence is not something that must be forced or perfected.
It is what naturally emerges when the nervous system feels safe, the body is listened to, and emotions are allowed to move rather than remain trapped.
This work invites people back into their bodies through practices that regulate the nervous system, deepen awareness, and reconnect them with their inner intelligence.
Through breath, touch, guided journeys, and somatic practices, clients begin to experience something many have been missing for years:
The feeling of being fully here.
Fully themselves.
The Path of Transformation
For those who feel called to go deeper, Exquisite Presence offers a transformational mentorship journey known as The Alchemy Pathway.
The Alchemy Pathway is designed to help people understand and transform the emotional patterns that shape how they live, relate, and respond to life.
Rather than suppressing emotions or trying to “fix” them, this work teaches how to engage with them consciously — allowing emotional experience to become a source of wisdom, clarity, and grounded strength.
Within this pathway, two distinct containers support the unique journeys of women and men.
The Alchemy Room
The Alchemy Room is a space for women who are ready to reclaim their emotional depth as a source of power and self-trust.
Here, emotions are not minimized or explained away.
They are honored, explored, and ultimately transformed into insight, clarity, and intuitive leadership.
Women who enter the Alchemy Room often discover that the qualities they were once told were “too much” are actually the very capacities that allow them to live most authentically.
The Forge
The Forge is a mentorship space for men who want to develop grounded emotional strength and presence.
Within The Forge, men learn that emotional awareness is not a weakness but a foundation for stability, leadership, and integrity.
Rather than suppressing emotions or expressing them only through anger, this work helps men refine their inner world so they can respond to life with steadiness, clarity, and purpose.
A Shared Destination
Though the journeys may look different, both paths lead to the same place.
Exquisite Presence.
A way of being where a person is deeply connected to their body, aware of their emotional landscape, and able to move through life with honesty, compassion, and grounded confidence.
From this place, relationships deepen.
Decisions become clearer.
Life begins to feel more aligned and meaningful.
Exquisite Presence is not about becoming someone new.
It is about returning to the wholeness that has always existed within you.
My name is Sharon Romines and I am delighted you have found me and my work
Growing up, I was always encouraged to be independent and driven. While those qualities were incredibly valuable and shaped who I am, I've also come to understand their shadow side. In my efforts to deeply understand my husband and boys, and in turn, feel understood myself, I found I had unintentionally lost touch with who I was. I molded myself into what I thought they needed, sacrificing my own confidence and desires along the way.
I reached a point of complete burnout—physically, emotionally, and mentally. I was so disconnected from my own wants and needs that I couldn't even name them. I was repeating old patterns, unable to truly receive the love and abundance that was right in front of me.
This challenging period became a profound turning point. I learned to sit with my shame, cultivating deep compassion for myself. It wasn't easy to hear about the ways I'd inadvertently hurt others without getting defensive or letting blame take over, but it was a necessary and incredibly fruitful path. Along the way, I discovered powerful skills and tools that transformed my life.
Today, I know my wants and needs, and I have the confidence to express them. I'm far kinder to myself, embracing my human imperfections and mistakes. I can now recognize when I'm over-functioning or over-communicating out of a desire to avoid conflict, and I can gently reroute myself, offering love to the parts of me that feel fear or anger.
My deepest passion is helping others cultivate profound connections and fulfilling relationships of all kinds. I believe the relationship you have with yourself sets the template for every other connection in your life. Learning to embrace personal responsibility and radical compassionate honesty with ourselves isn't always easy, but it's truly the secret ingredient to living a life you absolutely love.
